we've been getting a lot of comment spam, lately, do we need to update Captcha ?

tell me if this is possible, easy or annoying;
exclude from tag cloud a list of named pages;
code, coffee, culture, community, art, film, music, words, staff, biz, distro, application, game, other.. and maybe a few others.
