Here is Ian's quick autobiography, from his MySpace page:

"I'm a songwriter. I usually play solo acoustic, but whenever possible prefer playing with a band. In 2003/2004 I started playing around Peterborough, ON. That year I met some local musicians and with their help and patience I recorded the "Andrew Nelles" CD. My two middle names are Andrew Nelles, so now you know. The "Fastest Train Across The Continent" was recorded in The Basement in Ottawa in January, 2007. My friend Andrew Skidmore played guitar on this record. He and I have played on and off since our high school band days in Ottawa."
