Spam: The Documentary explores the annoying consequences of a seemingly useful invention: e-mail spam. In a humorous and insightful look into the global culture of spam, filmmaker David Manning meets with Monty Python's Terry Jones, tracks down a spammer in Las Vegas, talks with the world's foremost anti-spammer, and visits the secret control room of AOL.

Much of the film was shot AT linuxcaffe, and the Director/ Producer Scott Dobson has generously offered copies for the screening.

Another free open-air screening in Bickford Park, across from the caffe, this time with films made by and about people in a three block radius.

Two amazingly talented musical regulars, Bill and Tim, will be playing a 5 song "mini-set" this evening (Thurs, June 14) 'round 7ish. Both guys are seasoned pros, with distinct yet different styles, and this will be their first gig together. Join us for what I'm sure will be some of the freshest fusion we'll hear this summer.
