Karina is a local artist who we had the pleasure of introducing to the world. It's surprising, too, because her work shows a complexity, maturity and depth that many exhibiting artists never achieve.

Her canvases reveal ghosts from our collective past, and silent characters stare out from mysterious depths that we know we can never plumb, and yet, at the same time, we feel we know them like family. You can see some more images of her work on her website at kl-d.com.
